Initial Soak: Submerge in room-temperature water for 20 minutes before first use to "season" the clay.

Hand Wash Only: Use a soft sponge and mild soap. Do not use a dishwasher or steel wool.

Microwave not recommended: To prevent cracks, avoid the microwave too frequently and extreme temperature jumps (thermal shock).
